Reprinting of final images

The purple scannograph of a pen knife and bus card holder might have to be reprinted as there were a fair few finger prints on it. However, this was apparently due to the canvas being sloppily handled before it was printed on, and the marks only showed up after printing. Though this is understandable, it is somewhat a pain as I am not sure whether it can be printed and mounted in time for the exhibition mounting on 27th May. Well, better give it a go anyway.

Dissertation: '25 years of Christmas'

EDIT (written in February) (left as draft for some reason, so I am posting it now)

Recently, on the news, I saw an article on this video montage made by Nick Confalone from footage taken by his father of his family as Nick and his sister went down the stairs on Christmas Day from 197_ to 20__ (missing only 198_). It is interesting to see the subjects grow before your eyes, and for new subjects to appear and disappear as time goes on.

Mounting the scannographs

The scannographs will be presented on six 12x16 canvases, 36mm deep and landscape in orientation (presented 2 across, 3 down). The big question now is how to mount them. I'm not sure whether Fabrika allows drilling. If so, mirror plates could be used. If not, then I guess some kind of adhesive?

Mirror plates: If drilling is allowed, these can be quite effective
